Frances W. Vidal, 99, of Route 430 Sherman, N.Y. passed away Monday, July 8, 2013, in her home.
She was born in Erie, Pa., on July 23, 1913, the daughter of the late Harry G. and Mildred Schreus Williams.
Frances had worked from 1935 to 1975, being employed as a bookkeeper, first for W.L. Nuttall & Son then for H.K. Nuttall Equipment Co. Inc. After retirement, she worked for realty companies at Chautauqua and Westfield until 1992.
She is survived by her nephews: William Page of McConnelsville, Ohio, the late Philip Page's wife, Linda Page of Hamburg, N.Y., and Harry Williams III and Claude Williams of Sanford, N.C.; great-nieces: Deborah Phelps, Dona Alexander, Amy Schwab and Patti Thompson; great-nephew, Alan Page; and sister-in-law, Nellie Williams, Morehead City, N.C.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Vidal, who died March 7, 1998, and whom she married Nov. 23, 1935 in Sherman; a sister, Margaret B. Savage, Sherman, N.Y.; and two brothers: Jack Williams, Beckley W.Va., and Harry G. Williams, Morehead City, N.C.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the Sherman Cemetery.
