The Falconer Rotary recently gathered at McCarty's Restaurant in Falconer to induct their new officers.
Roger Overend, the new club president, is vice president of operations at Ellison Bronze. Rotary's speaker for the evening, Falconer School Superintendent Steve Penhollow, highlighted Overend's very active participation in the wrestling program at Falconer. He shared many insights about Overend's character and integrity finishing by congratulating the club on selecting Overend as president.
Barb Vogan, assistant vice president at the Falconer branch of M&T Bank, will serve as the club's vice president. Vogan is a newer member, but has proven herself to be an asset to the club by helping to organize the recent Food Drive as well as participating in every club activity since she joined.

Lorri Huckelbery, a retired business owner and teacher, will continue to serve as secretary. Huckelbery is a longtime member of the club and chairs the Literacy Committee. Her commitment to literacy is widely known in the county.
Harold Brunacini, partner in the Vanstrom Accounting Firm in Falconer, will serve again as treasurer. Brunacini is also a long-term club member and past president.
He is very active in the club's projects and was especially helpful during the project to refurbish Falconer Park.
The club looks forward to continuing its work supporting local food pantries, providing books for children in the Falconer School District, putting finishing touches on Falconer Park as well as putting a third water well in Haiti under the new officers' leadership.
