Sharon Lisciandro has announced her candidacy for the Chautauqua County Legislature representing the new District 10 comprised of the Village of Lakewood, part of Busti and the southwestern corner of Jamestown.
"I have lived in Chautauqua County my entire life, attending schools in Bemus Point and moving to Jamestown, where I have run a successful business for 20 years," Lisciandro said.
In 2005, Lisciandro became a licensed realtor and started her real estate career. She has completed numerous advanced real estate educational courses.
"I have been honored to receive many awards from the Chautauqua County Board of Realtors, including the Presidential Award in Bronze, Silver and Gold. I was chosen Realtor Associate of the Year in 2012," she said. "I am a top producer for Century 21 Turner Brokers, having received the Pacesetter Award for outstanding performance in the highest principles of real estate and The Quality Service Survey Award."
Lisciandro has been involved in many volunteer and community service organizations, including the Chautauqua Leadership Network and Dining Out For Life.
The legislature candidate is a lector and Eucharistic Minister at Holy Apostles (Ss. Peter and Paul Church). Among the organizations to which Lisciandro belongs are: Women's Club of Lakewood, Lakewood Yacht Club, Moon Brook Country Club, Marvin House, Creche, FMNG and Rotary Club of Greater Jamestown AM.
She has three grown children with her late husband, Bob Lisciandro. The candidate lives in Lakewood with her husband, Mickey Yates.
