FALCONER - Members of the Chautauqua County Master Gardener Association will be presenting three Trowel Talks at the Falconer Public Library. The workshops are;
July 20, 10 a.m. to noon, Companion Plantings and Beneficial Insects. Participants will learn how to enhance their garden by combining plants and herbs in your garden, and learn why and how to attract beneficial insects to your garden.
Aug. 17, 10 a.m. to noon, Edible Plants: Participants will learn there are edible plants besides fruits and vegetables found in your garden. Tips on identifying edible plants along with their uses will be shared.
Sept. 21, 10 a.m. to noon, Putting Your Garden To Bed: As summer turns to fall, gardens need some maintenance. Participants will learn how to prepare their garden for the fall and winter season.
The Chautauqua County Master Gardeners are associated with the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County. Their mission is to educate and serve the community, utilizing university and research-based horticultural information.
