CELORON - Twenty-five more flags have been added to the Show Your Colors Celoron program for Flag Day.
Scott Schrecengost, Celoron mayor, said local businesses donated flags and equipment to add the additional flags that line village streets.
''A couple businesses donated the flags, Tim Galbato of Brigiotta's and Mike Anderson of M&M Enterprises. Steve LaTone of Painting Unlimited provided the lift truck to place the flags on the poles and AJ Genco Machine Shop made the brackets for the poles,'' Schrecengost said.

The mayor said the newly donated flags will be along Livingston Avenue. These flags will go along with the already donated ones that hang along Dunham, Boulevard and Jackson avenues.
In 2009, Richard Kogut, village trustee, started the Show Your Colors flag program in the village. Kogut donated his trustee's salary of $700 to the program. What started as an idea to add more flags downtown for Memorial Day has continued to grow through the years.
''It is nice when people make a donation to the flag program to make the village look nice,'' Schrecengost said. ''Trustee Kogut started the program, and the community has reached out to donate flags. (Kogut) has pushed for more donations, and they have been coming in. It is nice when the community pulls together.''
