Chautauqua County and the surrounding region provides a wealth of opportunities to hit the greens.
With more than 25 golf courses located within driving distance of Jamestown, area residents and seasonal visitors have much to explore. The majority of the courses are open to the public, have a country club or restaurant for dining and offer a unique experience based on the scenery of the location.
In November of 2002, Golf Digest ranked Jamestown as "The Best Little Golf Town in America" based on access to and diversity of courses, value-priced fees and number of quality golf days.
