OLEAN - Brittany Feldman and McKenna Maycock further cemented their status as two of the area's top athletes following their performances on the second day of competition during the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Athletic Association Track & Field Championships at Olean Middle School.
Feldman led all competitors - both boys and girls - by winning three events. The senior, who on Friday won the high jump when she cleared 5-feet, finished up her stellar meet by capturing the 200 (27.78) and, with the lone sub-minute time, the 400 (59.26).
Thanks to Feldman's efforts, Southwestern clinched the Division 1 crown with 139 points while Fredonia and Olean rounded out the top three with 97 and 75 points, respectively.

Maycock, meanwhile, dominated both the girls hurdles events, taking the 100 in 15.85 and the 400 in 1:04.49. Those victories, along with the contributions of teammate Taylor Decow (who won the 100 in 13.13), guided Randolph to the Division 2 title ahead of Salamanca, 160-124.
Allegany-Limestone was third in Division 2 with 112 points.
Another double winner, Anna O'Neal, was critical in leading Franklinville to the Division 3 crown. O'Neal, who on Friday placed first in the discus (100-9), came back on Saturday with a win in the shot put (34-0) as the Lady Panthers edged Maple Grove, 128-124.
Maple Grove's solid finish was facilitated by Megan Marsh's two victories (she won the 800 in 2:19.13 and the 1,500 in 4:53.07). Marsh also anchored the Lady Red Dragons' winning 3,200-meter relay squad with Caroline Benson, Hope Pietrocarlo and Taylor Norris.
On the boys side, Josh Juenamann raced to a first-place finish in the 100 (11.26) and the 200 (23.48) for Cattaraugus-Little Valley; Maple Grove's Corey Wefing, after winning the 800 on Friday in 1:59.51, won the 1,600 meters on Saturday in 4:29.15; and Adam Pecherzewski led Olean to the Division 1 title behind wins in the triple jump (43-5) and the long jump (20-10).
Trailing Olean was runner-up Dunkirk with 97 points while Southwestern, which got a victory from Jordan Powers in the 400 hurdles (57.76), was third with 83.
Despite securing only one victory - the 1,600 relay squad of Alex Shiperd, Zachary Jackson, Jordon Dowiasz and Sam Jacobi crossed the finish line first in 3:37.39 - Randolph clinched the Division 2 title by a hefty margin, 173-100, over Allegany-Limestone.
On Saturday, Toddrick Mason (400 dash, 52.73), Nate Flick (discus, 125-4) and Trevin Barber (high jump, 6-2) helped Allegany-Limestone to its solid finish.
Evan Harrington won the 110 hurdles in 15.41 for third-place finishing Salamanca.
Portville won Division 3 with 155 points, just ahead of Maple Grove's 131 and Frewsburg's 83.
In addition to Wefing's strong showing, the 3,200 relay team (Nick Zuroski, Matt Nelson, Colin Green and Wefing) also picked up a victory with a time of 8:36.11.
Other winners for the girls include Kirsten Holmberg of Falconer, who captured the 2,000 steeplechase in 7:53.89; Holmberg's teammate Mackenzie Wright, who won the triple jump when she traveled 35 feet, 3 inches; and Alyssa Coustenis of Salamanca, who cleared 9-6 in the pole vault.
For the boys, Josh Odell won the 3,000 steeplechase for Clymer-Sherman-Panama (10:28.50).
