Timothy Wright, Carroll police chief, was the speaker at the recent Frewsburg Lions Club meeting.
Wright was appointed chief on July 1, 2012. Wright reviewed how the town police coordinate with the county Sheriff's Department and the New York State Police. He explained the recent changes in the town department, and touched on the experience he brings to the community. Wright was introduced by Pat Harvey, program chair.
In the business meeting President Gary Wells reported that he and Don Dove will be participating in the upcoming Journey for Sight and asked for supporting donations. De Warn stated that the Adopt-A-Highway project was completed on April 13 by six Lions Club members. Harvey reported that the Leos were winners of the Pennies for Paws challenge with the Lions Club.
