New Groundskeeper Named For Ingjald Lodge Lake Park

May 11, 2013
The Post-Journal

Longtime Viking member Kevin Nelson has been hired to serve as groundskeeper at the Ingjald Lodge Lake Park facility on Chautauqua Lake. Nelson grew up in Jamestown at the top of "Swede Hill" and says he is excited about this opportunity to work where he has many fond family memories growing up. Kevin recently retired from a 25-year career as an airplane pilot. He and his wife, Jan, have four children: Garrett, Brianna, Chris and Josh. "The Viking Lake Park as always been very special to me, and I look forward to doing my best to maintain and improve upon its beauty on Chautauqua Lake," Nelson said. The Viking House Committee has indicated that they considered the local Viking Lodge very fortunate to have a person of Nelson's caliber on their staff. All Vikings are encouraged to greet Kevin and Jan and thank them for their work.
