An investigation into the discovery of a deceased woman found Thursday in her 11 Bush St. home has revealed that no criminal activity was involved in the victim's passing.
At about 2:30 p.m. Thursday, the Jamestown Police Department was called to the residence after the woman, who was reported missing earlier in the day, was found dead. The victim, in her 50s, had reportedly not been seen in several days before being found inside her home. The JPD, along with the Chautauqua County Forensic Investigation Team and the county District Attorney's Office, investigated the incident and at the time called it a "suspicious death."
The body was transported to WCA Hospital where it was examined further and the county coroner determined that no criminal activity was involved.
