MAYVILLE - Boy Scouts of Mayville Troop 126 collected 500 pounds of food donations from community members recently during the nationwide Scouting for Food campaign.
Under the leadership of Scoutmaster Andy Cesarz, Boy Scouts collected groceries to help the Mayville's Food Pantry supply Mayville area families with nutritious meals.
Mayville Troop 126 scouts thanked the Mayville families who donated items for the "Scouting for Food" drive. Scouts participating were Andrew Akin, Mikey Hetrick, Rion Martin, Joey Parker and Michael Parker.
