Britta Johnson and Sydney Burk pitched Southwestern to a 4-3 victory over visiting Allegany-Limestone in Division 1 softball on Friday afternoon.
Johnson earned the victory after hurling five innings and surrendering three runs on four hits and three walks while Burk earned the save when she shut the door in the final two frames (allowing one hit and no walks).
Southwestern's victory was its second in five games this season.
Shelby Lunz and Johnson each hit doubles for the victors, who tallied two runs in the first and one apiece in the fourth and fifth innings.
Moriah Monroe took the loss for Allegany-Limestone (2-3). She went seven innings and walked three.
