Benefit Planned For Saturday
ASHVILLE - The LLAMA Club, Route 474, Ashville, will hold a spaghetti dinner benefit from 2-8 p.m. Saturday for Steve Donelson, a lifelong Panama resident who was hospitalized in Erie and in Pittsburgh for an extended period of time, having undergone emergency surgery and an extensive recovery period. The benefit will help the family meet the medical expenses. The benefit will include live music, giveaways and silent auction. Donations for the silent auction and giveaway are still being accepted.
Gerry To Hold Cleanup Day
The town of Gerry, village of Sinclairville and town of Charlotte will be hosting a cleanup day Saturday. People who want to volunteer their time can meet at the Sinclairville Village Hall on Lester Street in Sinclairville at 9 a.m. Municipal officials provide gloves, garbage bags and maps for choosing an area to clean up. Volunteers are asked to wear closed-toe shoes and wear bright reflective clothing. There will be coffee and doughnuts available at the village hall in Sinclairville. SWCS Class Of 1973 To Meet
The SWCS class of 1973 has scheduled its 40th class reunion to be held at Shaggy's See-Zurh House in Bemus Point, the evening of July 6. On Facebook go to: 1973 SWCS 40th Class Reunion event site. Dinner Theater Event Is Friday
New Beginnings Fellowship United Methodist Church, 1427 Warren & Jamestown Blvd., Jamestown, will host the dinner theater "Trial by Error'' by Bette Dale Moore at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, 1 and 6 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Dinner includes chicken and biscuits and all the fixings and pie for dessert. The cost of the nonrefundable ticket is $5 per person. A love offering will also be taken. Reservations are required.
