CASSADAGA - Cub Scout Pack 219 in Cassadaga recently held its annual Pinewood Derby contest at the village fire hall.
Scouts had to carve a block of wood into a car, add wheels, put weights on it, paint it and decorate it.
A total of 19 boys participated. There were four individual heats for the Tigers, Wolves, Bears and Webelos. Winners of each den then raced one another to find out who would become the overall pack winner.
