FALCONER - Despite taking an early lead, Falconer was unable to contain Olean's bats and the Huskies (3-1) rolled to a 13-5 win over the Golden Falcons (2-5) in Division 1 baseball on Tuesday.
Falconer led 4-1 after the first inning, but that disappeared quickly as Olean plated nine runs in the top of the second and never looked back.
Brad Painter got the win for the Huskies, going five innings while striking out eight, walking nine and surrendering just three hits.
Offensively, Luke Hennessey connected for three singles, Evan Ryan added three hits with a double and Austin Stevens, Matt Smith, Ben McGraw, Painter and Pat Scholla all had two hits.
Mike Wilcox delivered a double and a single for Falconer as A.J. Genco got the loss.

It was a different story for Falconer on Monday as the Golden Falcons battled to a 6-5 win over Southwestern, posting 11 hits in total.
The game was a see-saw contest all the way. With the Trojans leading 4-2 after the fourth inning, the Golden Falcons plated two runs to tie the game at 4-4, but Southwestern regained the lead by one run before Falconer brought home two more runs in the sixth.
Mike Wilcox pitched a complete game with 12 strikeouts while giving up four walks and eight hits. He also added three hits, including a triple.
Jim Schwab contributed a double and a single with three RBIs and Kyle Peterson and Jake Youngberg both had two hits for Falconer.
For Southwestern, Jake Pilling went the distance in earning the loss, striking out three with six walks.
TROJANS FALL TO A-L
ALLEGANY - Allegany-Limestone defeated Southwestern (1-9. 0-4), 8-6.
Southwestern was led by Noah Weinstein with a double and singles were recorded by Kyle Radack, Eric Priester, Pete Trathen and Riley Rybicki.
Priester was the losing pitcher.
