SINCLAIRVILLE - Cassadaga Valley played host to Silver Creek on Monday and the Cougars picked up their second league win with a 7-2 victory over the Black Knights (1-3, 3-5) in Division 2 baseball.
Kenny Oakes pitched a complete game to get the win for Cassadaga Valley, striking out 10 with just one walk and scattered six hits.
The Cougars (2-0, 2-4) broke things open in the fifth inning when they plated four runs, paced by Tyson Gugino's two-run single and Tage Reuther added a double that brought home two more runs.

Gugino and Devon Parsons each had two hits for the winners, Matt Hollowell doubled and singled and Jake Watts slammed a double.
Steve Marcey took the loss for Silver Creek with three strikeouts and two walks while surrendering nine hits over six innings. Nick Iskra entered in relief to close out the final inning. Marcey also helped his own cause with two hits.
MORRISON LEADS CARDS
RANDOLPH - Excellent relief pitching by Bryce Morrison carried Randolph (1-2, 2-2) to a victory .
Morrison came on in the second inning and worked six innings, allowing four hits, fanning five and walking two while allowing two runs as the Cardinals downed Salamanca (0-3), 6-4.
Ryan Styles and Kyle Brown each drove in a run with two hits apiece for Randolph. Andrew Hvizdzak had a two-run double in the three-run sixth inning to put the winners ahead to stay.
Matt Crandall drove in two runs with a double and a single in the loss. Jared Fish was the losing pitcher with five innings of work, scattering five hits, five strikeouts, three walks and three runs.
