Linda M Sadler, 65, of 6889 Creamery Road, Westfield, N.Y., passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Westfield Memorial Hospital.
She was born on July 25, 1947, in town of Chautauqua, N.Y., the daughter of Clifford and Irma (Broeme) Batson.
She graduated in 1965 from Sherman Central School, and lived in Idaho for 12 years. Linda had worked at Stardust Flower Shop, and the Sherman Pharmacy. She loved geneology and collecting. She had resided in Westfield, in her final years.
She is survived by her husband, Max Sadler of Westfield, N.Y., whom she married Nov. 22, 1994; her mother, Irma Ossman, of Clymer, N,Y.; sister, Margaret (Burton) Emory, of Findley Lake, N.Y.; her children: Anneliese Scadden of Las Vegas, Nev., Krista (Kevin) Rhebergen and Shane (Tammy) Scadden both of Sherman, N.Y., Jeffrey (Stacey) Scadden, Ripley, N.Y.; the father of her four children, Carman Scadden of Findley Lake, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren: Emily Tamargo, Kristopher, Kyle, Kyla, Karly Rherbergen, Travis, Danielle, Samantha, Tyler, Nathan, Allison and William, Scadden.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Batson.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2013, at the Spitzer Funeral Home, Sherman, N.Y., with Pastor R. Gordon Spiller, officiating. Burial will be in Sherman Cemetery.
Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
