The Jamestown Ironmen will square off against the Soo Eagles in a best-of-five series to determine the North Division champion of the North American Hockey League this weekend.
Neither team wasted any time getting to this point as they both swept their respective opponents in only three games in the semifinal round.
The top-seeded Eagles won six of eight games against the second-seeded, Ironmen in the regular season. The Soo finished the season with a 41-14-5 record while Jamestown ended up going 37-19-4.
The Eagles will open up the series on home ice at Pullar Stadium in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., this weekend on Friday at 7:30 p.m and game two set for Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
The following week, the series will shift to the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena for games three and four on May 2 at 7 p.m. Also if necessary, game four is May 3 at 7 p.m.
The Ironmen will travel back to the Soo if there is a need for a game five.
