The Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon is set for April 20 at noon at the Jamestown Bowling Company.
This event brings local businesses and communities together to help make the literacy programs possible. Each year four to six teams raise money for junior achievement programs, leading to this event.
Participants are asked to raise a minimum of $50 each and those raising $75 or more are eligible for prizes.
The lanes fees are $5 per bowler with all proceeds to go to Junior Achievement in Chautauqua County.
Interested parties are asked to get in touch with special events coordinator Diane Schroeder of Junior Achievement of WNY, 275 Oak St., Suite 222, Buffalo, NY., or phone 853-1381, extension 12.
