Dinner Theater Begins April 27
''Trial by Error'' dinner theater, by Bette Dale Moore, a melodrama western set in the early 1900s, will be presented at the New Beginnings Fellowship United Methodist Church, 1427 Warren and Jamestown Blvd., Jamestown, at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 26; 1 and 6 p.m., Saturday, April 27; and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28. Dinner features chicken and biscuits and pie for dessert. Reservations are required. Tickets are nonrefundable and cost $5 per person. A love offering will also be taken. Potluck Dinner Planned
Victory Tabernacle Church, 501 W. Third St., Suite 8, Jamestown, will hold a potluck dinner at 5 p.m., Sunday. Music will be provided at 6 p.m. by "Saved By Grace." All are welcome to attend.
Wedding Gown Exhibit On Display
MACHIAS - The exhibit "Wedding Gowns From Yesterday" is currently being displayed in the Cattaraugus County Museum from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each Tuesday and Friday during the month of April. For more information, call 353-8200.
Rod And Gun Club To Meet
LAKEWOOD - The Lakewood Rod and Gun auxiliary board will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday. Members should take a gently used item for donation to the annual Chinese Auction and also a nonperishable item for St. Susan's. Greeters will be Lyn Spencer and Mary Alonge. Sandy Carlson and Coralyn Boehler will be helpers. Refreshments will be provided by Connie Whitman and Phyllis Swanson.
Herring Breakfast Is Sunday
LAKEWOOD - The Lakewood American Legion will host a herring breakfast and "the grand slam" featuring three eggs, ham, sausage, toast, homefries and coffee and all you can eat homemade blueberry pancakes from 8 a.m. to noon on Sunday. The cost is $6 per person; children, age 10 and under, free. Breakfast will be free for new members.
Panama Board To Meet Monday
PANAMA - The Panama Central School Board of Education will hold its scheduled board meeting Monday at 7 p.m. in the boardroom. This meeting is open to the public.
Swim Lessons Begin Tuesday
The Winfred Crawford Dibert Boys & Girls of Jamestown will be starting a new eight-week session of swim lessons. The club uses the Red Cross system of progressive instruction for beginning to advanced swimmers with placement in classes that encourage and support each child's efforts and abilities. The swim lesson registration fee is $25 per participant. A Boys & Girls Club membership is also required and available for $15 for one full year of membership. Swim lessons are scheduled in 45-minute sessions on Tuesdays-Saturdays. Please call the Boys & Girls Club at 664-2902 to see the time each level is offered. The next session will begin on Tuesday and run through June 1.
