MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Bram Johnson had a big day for the Jamestown in the Mingo Bay Baseball Classic on Thursday.
Johnson connected for four hits and three RBIs while pitching four innings in which he gave up three hits with seven strikeouts and two walks in an 8-5 comeback decision over Liberty, W.Va.
The Red Raiders were trailing, 5-3, when they came to bat in the home sixth inning and scored five times to take the lead for good.

Johnson doubled in a run, Alex Guzman singled in another and Chris Haase singled in two to give the winners a 7-5 lead. Then, Brett Dehner lofted a sacrifice fly to end the scoring.
The Red Raiders had single runs in the first, second and fourth innings. Two of runs were came in on RBI singles by Johnson and the other crossed on an error.
Nick Tobias followed Johnson to the mound and worked two innings with six strikeouts and a walk. Dehner followed with an inning and picked up the 14th strikeout for the Red Raiders.
Liberty scored three times in the second followed that up with run in the fifth and sixth.
Jamestown plays host Conway, S.C, at 5:30 p.m. today.
