KENNEDY, N.Y. - Elsie R. Williams, 90, of Tanglewood Manor, formerly of Waterboro Hill Road, Kennedy, died April 1, 2013, at WCA Hospital in Jamestown, N.Y.
She was born Nov. 9, 1922, the daughter of John J. and Iva Nickerson Frentz.
She was a graduate of Little Valley High School. She worked with her father on the family farm in New Albion. She was formerly employed at the Fancher Furniture Company in Salamanca, N.Y. She was a self-employed cattle hauler. She was active FFA.
She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles (word search).
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Madeline Frentz of New Albion; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers: Alta J. Frentz, and John Almond Frentz; and two sisters: Lena Frentz and Anna Kelwaski.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013, at VanRenssalaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph, N.Y., with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Rene Adams, pastor of the Napoli United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Burial will be at East Randolph Cemetery.
