Place At King Cobra

Two members of Johnson's Black Belt Academy recently placed at the King Cobra Karate Championships in Erie. The tournament is rated as one of the largest in the Northeast, hosting more than 1,000 competitors. From left are Rick Johnson, chief instructor; Madison Ecklund, fifth in kata (empty hand forms) and fifth in weapons kata (forms) in the 10-Year-Old Advanced Division; and Shihan Greg Flagella, second in adult black belt weapons forms and sixth in black belt empty hand forms (kata).
