Brittany Marie Bowman and Chase Andrew Weidmann exchanged wedding vows on Oct. 6, 2012, at St. Thomas the Apostle in Ann Arbor, Mich. Father Arokiaselvam Nithiyaselvam performed the ceremony. Readings were provided by Tracy Bogdan and Betsy Albro, aunts of bride, and John and Janet Plenke, aunt and uncle of groom.
The bride is the daughter of Janet and Steven Bowman of Jamestown, N.Y., and the granddaughter of Richard Bowman of Lakewood, N.Y., and Ted Bogdan of Jamestown, N.Y. Her husband is the son of Kim and Jerry Weidmann of Germantown, Wis., and the grandson of JoAnn and Larry Weidmann and Marilyn and Otto Wolter, all of Wisconsin.
Allissa Bowman, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Weidmann, sister of the groom, and Caitlin Milford.

Brittany is a 2005 graduate of Jamestown High School. Her husband is a 2005 graduate of Dominican High School. They both graduated from the University of Rochester in 2009 with Bachelor of Science degrees in biochemistry and are both doctoral candidates at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in biological chemistry. They are employed as graduate student research associates at the University of Michigan.
They honeymooned in Monterey, Calif.
They are living in Ann Arbor, Mich.
