Leo L. Belknap, 90, of Bemus Point, N.Y., passed away on March 20, 2013, at the Heritage Green Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility in Greenhurst, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joanne Elsom, in 2003.
Surviving family members are his wife, Jane Belknap of Bemus Point; a son, Michael L. Belknap of Easley, S.C.; and a daughter, Anita Bourgeois of Staunton, Va.; along with seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by his stepchildren: Caren Woodhead, Susan Dalpra, Cleaton and Shawn Caskey, and their families.
Leo was born Aug. 11, 1922, in Alberta, Canada.
He served as a Naval Aviation Radioman sta-tioned at USNAS Pensacola, Fla., where he began his love of flying. He was a private pilot for many years and enjoyed travel.
His greatest accomplishment was the founding of Belknap Business Forms, which began with one small printing press in the back room of his home in Maple Springs, N.Y. His business grew far beyond his dreams into a well-respected business forms manufacturing facility in Westfield, N.Y., employing many local people.
He also had a love of woodworking and built several homes in the Westfield area.

The family suggests that memorials may be made to the Sloan Kettering Cancer Center to which he gave in memory of his daughter.
