BATAVIA - The Lakewood Starz YMCA Gymnastics team competed at Batavial last weekend.
Four Starz attended the meet and rounded out the remaining members who needed to qualify for the state and national competitions to be held in a few months.
Those who competed were Level 4's Abbey Maloney and Brittany Kightlinger, and Level 7's Emily Goodwill and Emily Walsh.

With Maloney and Walsh now qualified for states and nationals, all 14 members of the Starz have qualified for these competitions.
The Starz return to action on April 13 and 14 with Level 5-9 Pennsylvania League Championships at Oil City, Pa.

Level 4
Abbey Maloney: vault (9.75), bars (7.65), beam (8.0), floor (9.05), all-around (34.45)
Brittany Kightlinger: vault (8.9), bars (8.0), beam (8.5), floor (7.8), all-around (33.2)
Level 7
Emily Goodwill: vault (9.1), bars (8.4), beam (6.7), floor (7.85), all-around (32.05)
Emily Walsh: vault (8.4), bars (8.2), beam (7.6), floor (8.55), all-around (32.75)
