OLEAN - Tyler Hind was named the Most Valuable Player for the 5th-6th grade travel basketball team as it won a tournament at Olean Bishop Walsh last weekend.
Daunte Garland and Andrew Bernard joined Hind on the all-tournament team.
The locals defeated five teams to win the 13-team event with the wins against Franklinville (48-18), Salamanca (53-35), Coudersport, Pa. (31-29 and 32-21) and Warren (33-24).

This weekend they travel to a tournament in Oil City, Pa.
