CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

FREWSBURG - Roman M. Gedz, 49, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration. Deputies on Sunday at 5 a.m. responded to an incident involving Gedz. Police said Gedz attempted to push past officers in order to argue with another individual while the incident was being investigated. He was arraigned and remanded to Chautauqua County Jail.

ELLICOTT POLICE

Steven A. Michael, of West 12th Street, was charged with third-degree assault and third-degree criminal mischief. Police on March 3 were called to the Fountain Bowl on Fluvanna Avenue for a fight in progress. Michael was issued appearance tickets and will be back in court at a later date.
