Michel "Bonnie" Ohls, 69, of Jamestown, passed away Sunday (March 3, 2013), in her home.
Bonnie was born April 1, 1943, in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Florence Jones Braun.
She was a graduate of Southwestern High School, and a graduate of Jamestown Community College with a degree in nursing.
Prior to retirement, she was employed by The Resource Center for 12 years retiring in 2009. Bonnie was a member of The Daughters of American Revolution, and enjoyed crocheting, reading and attending auctions with her husband. Bonnie lived her life for each day, laughed every chance she had, loved everyone with all her heart and never regretted a moment.
She is survived by her husband, Clair R. Ohls Jr., whom she married Oct. 7, 1963, in Iowa; her son, Clair R. (Deborah) Ohls III of Jamestown; two daughters: Cherie Ohls of Falconer, and Christine Kent of Tampa, Fla.; three grandchildren: Bailee McGinnis, Savannah Lingenfelter, Ashden Marucci; a great-grandchild: Jackson Lingenfelter; and three brothers: Gary Braun of Jamestown, Richard Braun of Oklahoma, and Craig Braun of Lakewood, Colo.
Besides her parents, Bonnie is preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Jones.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Friday in the Falconer Funeral Home.
