Linda L. Reeves, 65, of Burch Drive, Onoville, formerly of Springville, N.Y., passed away Friday (March 1, 2013), at home, with her family by her side, while under the care of Hospice.
Mrs. Reeves was born Oct. 4, 1947, in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of the late LaMonte and Mary Frost Waag.
Linda was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Cheektowaga, and retired from West Val-ley Nuclear Services in West Valley, N.Y. In years prior, she worked for Peerless Winsmith Manufacturing in Springville, N.Y. She was a member of the Carroll Rod & Gun Club, and enjoyed flower gardening, sewing and quilting.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles A. "Chuck" Reeves, whom she married on Oct. 16, 1965, in Buffalo, N.Y.; two daughters: Marylynn Reeves of Springville, and Kelly Ann Reeves of Steamburg, N.Y.; a son, Charles J. "Chuckie" Reeves and wife, Maribeth, of Lackawanna, N.Y.; and six grandchildren: Ricky, Ryan, Caitlyn, Christian, Janelle and Taylor. She is also survived by three sisters: Mary Lee Melohusky of Edinboro, Pa., Cindy Schreiner and Beatrice Brogan, both of West Seneca; and a brother; Edwin Waag of Blasdell.
Visitation will not be observed. A memorial service to celebrate Linda's life will be held at a later time, with a date and time to be announced later by the VanRensselaer & Son Funeral Home, 14 Church St., Randolph.
