ERIE, Pa. - Cooper Spielman scored four goals to back the shutout goaltending of Aiden Gibbons in the Jamestown Lakers' 9-0 win over the Erie Lions on Saturday at the JMC Ice Arena.
Trenton Shutters added two goals and three assists, Jack Brinkley had a goal and three assists, Will Turner had a goal and two assists, Evan Bishop had a goal and Devin Wolfe had an assist in the win.
The Lakers led 6-0 after the first period.

FREDONIA - The Fredonia Steelers scored twice in the final 2:44 to earn a 3-3 tie with the Jamestown Lakers on Sunday at Steele Hall.
Ethan Brunner scored twice while Zach Korzienewski also scored for the Steelers. Ikaika Wojcinski had two assists while Lauren Marshall also had an assist for Fredonia.
Jack Brinkley, Trenton Shutters and Will Turner scored for the Lakers, who picked up assists from Chase Jones, Cooper Spielman, Brinkley and Josh Cooper.
HOUSE LEAGUE
Allan Christie tallied a pair of goals to break a scoreless tie in the second period, Don Dean and Blade Ellis added a goal apiece in the third and Arby's defeated Rock Hill Engineering, 4-2, in recent Chautauqua County House Hockey action.
Earning assists in the victory were Zach Schweiger, Andrew MacCallum and Jon Syper.
Jordan Rose and Kevin Moran, assisted by Matt Dobek and Nathan Radka, were the goal scorers in defeat.
Jamie MacCullum was the winning netminder.
