Warren Albin Fredrickson ''Pee Wee,'' 76, of Cassadaga, N.Y., passed away in the beloved arms of his family on Feb. 21, 2013. A memorial service honoring and celebrating a life well-lived will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Cassadaga Community Baptist Church.
A lifelong Cassadaga resident, he was born Feb. 29, 1936 (leap year), in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of the late Albin and Ellen Unsworth Fredrickson.
He was a 1953 graduate of Cassadaga Valley High School. Warren spent his career as a woodworker. First with the family business, Fredrickson Brother's Lumber, then Cassadaga Wood Products, the company his father began that he eventually owned with his brothers: John and Howard, which became Cassadaga Designs when the brothers sold it and from where Warren retired in 2008.

For 57 years he served as Sunday school secretary of Cassadaga Community Baptist Church, which he joined in 1946. Warren was a founding member of Healing Hearts Ministry. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 1280, the Cassadaga Cemetery Association, and the Cassadaga Fire Department.
Warren was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Janet Blizzard Fredrickson; and his brothers: John, Howard and Phil.
He is survived by his four children: Amy (Mark) Davis of N. Chesterfield, Va., Lane (Stephen) Sterrett of Charlotte, N.C., Albin Fredrickson of Cassadaga, N.Y., and Erik Fredrickson of Lawrence, Kan.; two grandsons: Jacob (Alison) Davis of Minot, N.D. and Joseph (Jennifer) McLaughlin III of Lancaster, Calif.; three great-grandsons: Brayden and Jameson McLaughlin and Tyler Davis; and many dear friends.
