The Jamestown Rifle Club took third place in week three of the Vermont Winter Postal League, missing second by just a point and first by eight.

Team scores were Whitehall 1,578, Plattsburgh Rough Riders 1,571, Jamestown 1,570, Hartford 1,551, Hudson Falls 1,521, Northfield 1,509, Aces 1,483, Capital City 1,471, St Lawrence 1,428, Sharpshooters 1,412, Junior Rough Riders 1,345 and Marksman 1,092.

The team was led by the shooting of Todd Hanson who fired a 399. Hanson's score was also the top score for the league this week and better than any other shooter this season.
