Falconer AIS teachers hosted the fourth annual Math Night on Feb. 7 at Fenner Elementary School. Jon Anderson and his Math Club guided students in grades UPK-5 through six interactive math stations. Ninety-five students were in attendance as well as more than 100 parents. Connie Kennedy, local author, presented her new book to the parents and had an author signing. Teachers Sue Arrance and Cindy Nutt made a presentation to parents on the Common Core Learning Standards.

Adam, Joseph and Toby work at the R.C. Cars station. Students worked in teams to answer grade-appropriate questions to get a numerical result. With that result the “driver” will have to drive an R.C. car to each of the numbers in the answer and then back to the finish.
