CLARENCE - James-town took 16th place in the 200 medley relay at the Section 6 Boys Swimming Championships on Friday and will battle on today with the finals scheduled for noon.
The team members included Andrew Caldwell, Matt Caldwell, Charlie Simons and Rishi Gupta, who combined for a time of 1:50.31
Also for the Red Raiders, Allan Smith will be seeded fifth overall in the 200 freestyle after posting a time of 1:53.38
In the 200 individual medley, Matt Caldwell earned the 12th seed with a time of 2:13.06 and Andrew Caldwell is the15th seed after swimming a time of 2:14.10.
Smith will also be seeded 16th in the 100 butterfly after producing a time of 58.84, Andrew Caldwell is seeded 11th in the 100 backstroke, swimming a 1:00.09 time and in the 100 breaststroke, Matt Caldwell will be the 20th seed after posting a 1:08.73.
The 400 free relay team of Gupta, Simons, Smith and Andrew Caldwell will be seeded 14th after putting up a time of 3:35. Frewsburg will be the 15th seed in the event.
