The United Senior Council of Chautauqua County will hold its monthly meeting Thursday at Emeritus at Lakewood at 10 a.m. Representatives from CARTS will be doing a presentation about their services for the elderly.
The United Senior Council meets the second Thursday of the month at various locations throughout the county. The council members consist of representatives from the various senior groups in the county as well as representatives from organizations that offer services to the elderly.
It is a nonprofit organization offering educational and informative speakers as well as contest and social events to seniors. Their goal is to provide events that pull seniors together throughout the county and provide a place where they may go to find out about various services available to them.
