FRENCH CREEK - One dog was killed and another injured in a Saturday incident that resulted in felony charges being filed against a French Creek man.

State Police out of the Jamestown barracks have charged Dennis C. Teed, 44, of Belknap Road, for shooting two of his neighbors' dogs. Teed told police the dogs were trespassing on his property when he shot them; one of the canines died while another was injured.

State Police said Teed reportedly stalked and tracked the dogs before shooting them on his property. No further information regarding the incident was available Monday.

Teed was charged with third-degree felony criminal mischief, felony aggravated cruelty to animals and misdemeanor cruelty to animals. He was arraigned in French Creek Court and released on bail.
