Malcolm O. Lindbeck,
68, of 401 West Fourth St.,
Jamestown, passed away

unexpectedly on Feb. 4,
2013. He was born on Oct.
26, 1944, in Jamestown, the
son of the late Malcolm T.
and Edith M. Levine Lindbeck.
He was a 1963 graduate
of Southwestern Central
High School, excelling in
varsity football. He had
been both a licensed
private and commercial pilot, having received his
training in Jamestown and
Opa-Locka, Fla., and had
logged many flight hours.
In later years, he was employed by Busch Industries, retiring in 1998. He
was an avid fisherman, having received many bass
fishing awards over the
years.
He is survived by two
sons: Robert B. Lindbeck
of Olean, N.Y., and Todd A.
Lindbeck of Rochester,
N.Y.; a sister, Roberta A.
Knight of Aurora, Colo.; a
niece, Valeri A. Tingue of
Jamestown; two great
nephews: Erik R. Tingue
and Nicholas M. Tingue,
both of Jamestown.
Friends may call at the
Lind Funeral Home on Friday, Feb. 15, 2013,
between the hours of 2-4.
A private service will be
held at the convenience of
the family.
