JHS Sails Past Lancaster, 59-44

LANCASTER - The weather may have been cold and snowy, but Jamestown was on fire once again on Friday night as the Lady Red Raiders jumped out to a big lead early and cruised to their 13th win of the season and the 10th in ECIC Division 1 with a 59-44 victory over Lancaster (8-3).

JHS had its offense in gear through the first two quarters, rolling to a 32-17 halftime lead and continued to build on that into an 18-point advantage by the end of the third period.

Once again, Karisha Tapia found the range for 20 points, including a trio of 3-pointers and added six boards, six steals and three assists while Anne Campion chimed in with 14 points and Chrisanna Green led in rebounds with 14 rebounds, sin on offense, and added four blocks.

Miranda Hardy led Lancaster with 16 points and Sarah Saba had 12 points in the losing effort.
