A record setting number of people attended the 2013 edition of Doors Open Jamestown. This year's event attracted visitors from throughout Chautauqua County, and as far away as Pittsburgh and Cleveland.
Thousands of visitors had the opportunity to see what Jamestown is all about. Participating organizations included the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame, Fenton History Center, Infinity Performing Arts, James Prendergast Library, Jamestown Audubon Center, Jamestown Savings Bank Arena, Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Center, Reg Lenna Civic Center, Robert H. Jackson Center and the Roger Tory Peterson Institute.
As a nonprofit community event, Doors Open Jamestown depends upon the cooperation of a volunteer steering committee, participating attractions and site volunteers, as well as support from local businesses and the Chamber of Commerce.
