Anthony S. DeCastro of Jamestown, N.Y., passed away on Jan. 24, 2013.
He was born Nov. 16, 1923, in Dunkirk, N.Y.
A veteran of World War II, he was discharged in 1946, and worked for 30 years as a tool maker for Proto-Tool.

He is survived by his daughter, Theresa Carlson, sons-in-law: Wayne Carlson and Jose Delgado and grandson, Joshua; all of Jamestown, N.Y. He is also survived by grandson Matthew Carlson and great-granddaughter, Lyra Carlson, both of Colorado Springs, Colo., and grandaughter, Jennifer Downey and great-grandson, Jacob, both of Woodbridge, Va.
Tony was an enormous baseball fan, and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, kids and great-grandkids. He now joins his wife, Grace DeCastro and daughter, Natalie, who both passed away in 1998.
No visitation will be observed. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
The Migliore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
