Southwestern/Maple Grove won two Lake Shore Hockey League games.
On Saturday night SW/MG skated to a 4-2 win over Fairview as Alex Carlson scored three goals and Thomas Gerace added the other. Andy Farnham, Branden Decker, and Curtis Carlson each had an assist.
Ben Richard was in goal.
On Monday, SW/MG handed Meadville its first defeat of the season, 5-4.
Carlson had another hat trick while Farnham and Curtis Carlson added the other goals. Farnham, Thomas Gerace, Nate Stephens, and Thomas Sirianno added assists.
Noah Weinstein was in goal for SW/MG (13-11-2).
