After reading the article regarding ''animal abuse'' in Busti, I find it truly perplexing and upsetting that this cruel individual received only a slap on the wrist.
Surely such a glaring example of animal abuse involving 26 dogs surely deserves a stiffer penalty including a fine and a minimum five-year ban on acquiring any new animals.
Because she was so harsh on the treatment of her dogs, the authorities should have imposed a harsher penalty on her.
