Tommy Campion scored nine points in a win last Tuesday over Williamsville North and had a career-high 40 points, including 21 in the third quarter, to reach 1,000 for his career in a win Saturday against Lancaster. In the latter game, he shot 14-of-26 from the field, including 7-of-14 from the arc, and connected on all five of his free throws. He also had five steals.

Dani Reinwald scored 21 points, blocked a school-record 11 shots, grabbed 25 rebounds — four shy of the school record — and had five assists in Clymer’s victory over West Valley last Monday.

Javen Newman went undefeated in the 285-pound weight class at the Section 6 Class D Championships on Saturday and capped his class-title earning performance with a pin in 2:32 of Barker’s Lukas Hanssen, a sectionally-ranked wrestler.

Jordan Powers was a double winner in a meet with Olean. Along with his victory in the 100 butterfly (54.83), he set a new Southwestern record in the 50 freestyle, hitting the wall first in just 22.15.
