James and Lisa Johnson of Kennedy, N.Y. announce the engagement of their daughter, Elyse C., to Tyler N. Henshaw, the son of Robert and Kimberly Henshaw of Jamestown, N.Y. Miss Johnson is also the granddaughter of Robert and Diane Johnson and Ann Shirey. Her fiance is the grandson of Neil and Susan Boardman and Gwen Pascoe.
Miss Johnson is a graduate of Jamestown Community College and Houghton College. Her fiance is a graduate of Geneva College.
An Oct. 12, 2013, wedding is planned.
