The Roger Tory Peterson Institute will host an evening featuring "The Far Side of Relationships," presented by special guest Dr. Wayne Gall, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14.
The event is free and open to the public, though donations are appreciated.
The evening starts at 6:30 p.m. with complimentary wine and chocolate and time to enjoy the magnificent artwork of Roger Tory Peterson on display at the institute. At 7 p.m., Gall will take over to spoof the hilarious heights and the despairing depths of human relationships. The event will feature selected cartoons from Gary Larson's series, "The Far Side."
Gall is a longtime friend of RTPI and supporter of environmental education and land conservation in Western New York. He earned his Ph.D. in zoology at the University of Toronto, master's degree in entomology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and bachelor's degree in biology at the University at Buffalo. He is a western regional entomologist for the state Department of Health in Buffalo. Prior to that, he served as curator of entomology at the Buffalo Museum of Science. He and his wife Susan have three children.
