GIRLS U-18

The Southern Tier Storm dropped two games by losing on Saturday to Erie Lions, 6-0, and again to Erie Lions, 6-1.

Goalie Rachel Clark had 28 saves on Saturday and 22 saves on Sunday in a losing cause.

Rebecca Rothleder scored from Anna Booth and Courtney Schoepfin for the only Storm goal.

BANTAM LEAGUE

The Jamestown Lakers Bantam recorded a win and a loss over the weekend at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena.

First, the Lakers blanked Cazenovia, 7-0, behind the goaltending of Ryan Pascarella and Chad Niver on Saturday.

Joey Gerace scored a hat trick with his first goal assisted by Griffin Noon and Jarod Anderson, his second from Mike Mammoser and Anderson and his third from Jake Tota against Cazenovia.

The other goals by Lakers came from Noon from Mammoser and Tristan Myers, Jacob Zweig from Mammoser, Mammoser from Tota and Mike Derby and Tommy Muecke from Gerace.

Then, the Lakers were dealt a 2-1 loss by Batavia on Sunday.

Pascarella was the goalie and Zweig scored from Gerace for the lone Lakers' goal.
