Liesl Maria VanHaute and Matthew Christopher Schiavone exchanged wedding vows on July 14, 2012, at Ss. Peter and Pauls Catholic Church, Towanda, Pa. The Rev. Edward Michelini performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Maximillian Esmus, organ, Ryan Dore, trumpet, Abigail VanPatter, harp, Monica Dudek, soprano, Beth Nicholas, soprano and Hannah Kertland, soprano.
The bride is the daughter of Edward and Maria VanHaute of Towanda, Pa. Her husband is the son of Stephen and Susan Schiavone of Jamestown, N.Y.
The bride wore a white DaVinci ball gown with satin bodice and tulle skirt.

Heidi Tavani, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Gretchen McCarron, sister of the bride, Karen Schiavone, sister of the groom, and Anna Lind.
Best man was Frank Dodd. Groomsmen were Lee Nicholas, Matthew Tavani, brother-in-law of the bride, and Ward VanHaute, brother of the bride.
The bride is a graduate of Towanda Area Senior High School and Grove City College. She is employed as director of choral activities at Patuxent High School in Lusby, Md. Her husband is a graduate of Southwestern Central School and Grove City College. He is employed as an account manager for Red Hawk Fire & Security in the D.C. metro area.
They honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii.
They are living in North Beach, Md.
