Evelyn L. Ryberg, 84, of Heritage Park Rehab & Skilled Nursing, formerly of Belleview Heights, Bemus Point, and Frewsburg, died, Friday (Jan. 25,2013) at Heritage Park.
She was born April 11, 1928, in Little Valley, the daughter of Harry and Mable Derby Clark.
She was a graduate of Frewsburg High School, and had been employed at the former Marlin Rockwell Corp., as senior accountant, retiring in 1987.
She was a member of the Frewsburg fireman's auxiliary and Trinity United Methodist Church in Frewsburg, where she was part of the United Methodist Women.
She enjoyed cooking and baking for her grandchildren, bowling and crafts.
Evelyn is survived by a daughter, Deborah Kennelley of Bemus Point: three grandchildren: Devin and Amanda Kennelley of Bemus Point, and Danielle (Mike Ross) Kennelley of Celoron; a brother, Gary Clark of Florida; and a sister, Marian Jones of Frewsburg.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Harold (Sam) Ryberg, whom she married in 1952, in Little Valley, and who died Jan. 1, 2007; and two brothers: Richard and Theodore Clark.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Trinity United Methodist Church, Frewsburg. The Rev. Cameron Lienhart, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Frewsburg.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. today in the Peterson Funeral Home, Frewsburg.
