Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro P.C., a regional certified public accounting and business advisory firm, partnered with Randolph Academy Union Free School District to bring its clients and friends unique and beautiful Thanksgiving greeting cards.

Elementary students from Randolph Academy participated in the firm's sixth annual holiday card contest. Students were asked to design a card in any way they chose with a Thanksgiving theme. The cards were judged based on creativity and neatness.

"All of the students' designs were fantastic. It is amazing to see the creative variety and innocence conveyed by the artwork that our students produced. This is a credit to two very talented, veteran art teachers, Karen Grabowski (Randolph campus) and Merry Radtke (Hopevale campus), whose classrooms are therapeutic havens of expression for our students," said Lori DeCarlo, superintendent of Randolph Academy Union Free School District.

The three winning card designs came from the artistic ability of Franele Johnson and Hailey Joy from the Hopevale campus and Alex Bryant from the Randolph campus. The designs were used for the Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro P.C., Vineyard Group, LLC and GFC Business System's holiday cards. Each winner received a bag filled with art supplies, copies of their printed card and their artwork framed.

"We are so grateful to BWB for creating such a positive experience for our young art students. They went above and beyond to honor our students in a way that brought smiles and pride to their parents and the school community," DeCarlo said.

"BWB works closely with many local school districts, and we are delighted that Randolph Academy was willing to work with us on our card program for this year," said Leslie Hoisington, BWB marketing coordinator. "This is the sixth year of our holiday card contest, and it was an extra special year because we held the card program in conjunction with our Thanksgiving food drive."

BWB maintains offices in Jamestown, Olean and Orchard Park. Its staff includes more than 50 employees, making it the largest CPA firm in southwestern New York, inclusive of its full-service payroll company, GFC Business Systems, and its multi-faceted business and consulting affiliate, the Vineyard Group, LLC.
